Last decade presents two phenomena, parallel and contradictory at the same time, in the field of Information Management. The development of Information Technology has consolidated its importance into the management of the organisations and, in turn, has brought out serious difficulties into the decision making processes. The origin of these problems resides in the existing differences between information and knowledge, terms that are mistaken with a lot of frequency. In order to guarantee the future of the organisation into the actual competitive market, it would be very interesting and necessary to provide it with an optimal knowledge management system inside it.
