The involvement of documentation in the creation of TV audiovisual news

The different phases that take place for an informative event to be considered relevant enough to be broadcasted by a television company are analysed. Those phases where the work of the documentation services is required are emphasized. The different kind of documentary tasks developed in the majority of the television networks are mentioned.
