Abstract

The Aragón Territorial Information System (SITAR) is a technological tool that was born as a result of the application of the autonomous competencies on territorial management that the constitution and the reginal statute ensure to the Aragonian people. Its creation and subsequent developments are influenced by the requirements that the regional legislation, the European Union, the scientific community and the society that are demanding from this type of public information platforms. This article details the most important aspects of the SITAR in relation to its technological evolution towards an spatial data infrastructure and also the incidents and findings that occurred while developing this tool.

Rafael Martínez Cebolla, Idearium Consultores, SL

Licenciado en geografía por la Facultad de Filosofía y Letras y Postgraduado en Ingeniería del Medio ambiente por el Centro Politécnico Superior de la Universidad de Zaragoza, ha desarrollado su experiencia profesional como analista y consultor en Sistemas de Información Geográfica (SIG) tanto para la Administración Pública como para la Empresa Privada. Actualmente desarrolla labores de consultor SIG para Idearium Consultores, SL.

David Portolés Rodríguez, Idearium Consultores, SL

Ingeniero en informática por el Centro Politécnico Superior de la Universidad de Zaragoza, ha desarrollado su experiencia profesional como analista y consultor en Sistemas de Información Geográfica (SIG) tanto para la Administración Pública como para la Empresa Privada. Actualmente imparte docencia como profesor asociado en la Universidad Autónoma de Madrid y desarrolla labores de consultor SIG para Idearium Consultores, SL.

Fernando Germán López Martín, Gobierno de Aragón Departamento de Política Territorial e Interior

Doctor en Geografía, Master en Gestión Ambiental (Open University) y Postgraduado en Medio Ambiente Urbano (Universidad de Zaragoza). Especialista en Clima y Cambio climático con más de 20 artículos, y los libros “Educación Ambiental y Cambio Climático”,”Clima y Ciudad”,”Cambio Climático y Turismo de Montaña”. Miembro del Equipo de Investigación consolidado, de la Universidad de Zaragoza “Clima y Agua”. Actualmente, Profesor y responsable del módulo de emisiones a la atmósfera del Master Oficial de Gestión Medioambiental de la Empresa de la Universidad San Jorge y Director del Centro de Información Territorial de Aragón (Gobierno de Aragón).

Elena Paraíso García, Gobierno de Aragón Departamento de Política Territorial e Interior

Diplomada en Biblioteconomía y Documentación por la Universidad de Zaragoza. Funcionaria de carrera del Cuerpo de Funcionarios Técnicos. Ha desarrollado su labor profesional como documentalista en el Servicio de Información y Documentación Administrativa, Departamento de Hacienda y Administración Pública (Gobierno de Aragón). Actualmente trabaja como documentalista en el Centro de Información Territorial de Aragón, Departamento de Política Territorial e Interior (Gobierno de Aragón).
