A classification scheme is proposed for the Personal Archive of the artist Pedro Gharel, an archival section of the Archivo Espacio P. It will enable the organization and retrieval of the documentation preserved in a non-institutional archive that was planned as a Documentation Center for International Contemporary Art Practices, pioneer in Spain. Since it is a complex archive holding, composed by very diverse materials, it has been organized following a wide-scope classification scheme. In this way, this device embraces all the versatile and interdisciplinary activities of an artist outstanding by his combinations of a wide range plastic, visual, scenic and sound arts.Downloads
