The origins and consolidation of the Votorantim Memory Project are discussed. The project was presented to the public in 2005, with the publication of its web site. Its architecture and the specific contents of each section are presented, identifying its informative sets and its document repositories. The working hypothesis is that the official history of the Votorantim Group is the result of the confluence between the workers’ memories and the corporate recollection. The background of the project is discussed in the frame of the growth strategy of the company, announced in 2004, and its corporate culture. The project contributes to the reinforcement and amplification of the employees’ corporate affiliation.Downloads
