This article seeks to share the information management experience in the field of youth performed in the Documentation Centre of the Basque Youth Observatory, as well as to draw attention to the wide range and types of sources and contents; which are useful for the formulation and execution of youth policies, programs and other actions conducted by youth technical experts and politicians. This article explains what kind of information is being looked up, how and where; which tools are used to keep well-informed in the youth field, where this information is collected and how it is spread. The objective is to provide a general overview and to outline a list of the localized information sources. This paper also covers the tools used to find and keep up with this type of information and what tools were used to collect it. It also names the elaborated products spread through different means.
