The right to be forgotten in Spain and in the EU

Se analiza el contenido y alcance del derecho al olvido tanto en el legislación de la UE como en la española, desde una posición crítica en la que, valorando muy positivamente la actual regulación, al ser una de las más garantistas a nivel mundial, se propone la ampliación del derecho al olvido estableciendo una caducidad de los datos personales por defecto, de forma que éstos sean eliminados automáticamente pasado un tiempo, sin necesidad de requerimiento expreso del interesado.
