Abstract

A methodology for software development is offered that allows repository administrators to view and modify the authors of the resource type "Theses". It was developed for the Institutional Repository of the National University of La Plata, Argentina, applying the Model-Driven methodology. In addition to solving the problem, this methodology helped the involved stakeholders (developers, business owners and domain experts) to interact with the same language regardless of the used software, so this methodology is easily generalizable to other similar problems.

Jose Texier, Universidad Nacional Experimental del Tachira

Profesor de la Universidad Nacional Experimental del Táchira (UNET), en Venezuela, en la carrera de Ingeniería en Informática desde el 2004. Graduado de Ingeniero en Informática en la UNET en el 2002 y de Magíster en Computación en la Universidad de los Andes, en Venezuela, en el 2008. Las líneas de trabajo e investigación están enmarcadas en Bibliotecas Digitales/Repositorios Institucionales, Compiladores e Intérpretes y Desarrollo de Software. Actualmente me encuentro en el cuarto año de estudios doctorales en la Universidad Nacional de La Plata (UNLP) en Argentina, adscrito al Servicio de Difusión de la Creación Intelectual (SEDICI), repositorio institucional de la UNLP.
