Evolución de las características de la citación en las monografías

Resumen

Se estudia la evolución de la no citación, uno de los aspectos que tienen un impacto reconocido en los resultados bibliométicos. Se pretende profundizar en la afectación producida por el tipo de documento, el área del conocimiento, el tiempo (que durante décadas se ha medido a través de la vida media), o el envejecimiento de las citas dentro del ámbito de las monografías científicas, en el que siguen apareciendo críticas a los sistemas de evaluación actuales y en el que se está trabajando sin descanso para lograr mejorar esa situación que afecta de forma significativa a algunas áreas del Conocimiento. Para la consecución de los objetivos se toman los estudios de Rong Tang (2008) y de Jeppe Nicolaisen y Tove Faber Frandsen (2019), y, tras las necesarias normalizaciones, réplicas de pasos y tratamiento de los datos, se analizan comparativamente desde el punto de vista de dicha evolución. Los resultados sugieren una relación entre las ratios de no citación y la tipología documental;  permiten una mejor comprensión del panorama actual de la publicación y uso de la información científica; y, convierten a la ratio de no citación en un elemento con posibilidades de uso como parámetro para la medición del mayor o menor impacto de las monografías científicas.
