Abstract

The theoretical aspects of the narrative structure of documents are discussed, using the Generative Trajectory of Meaning theory. In particular, the difficulties in identifying the subject of the documents (about­ness) are addressed from the linguistic and discursive semantics of Propp, Greimas Saussure, to show how these theories can improve the information representation processes.

Aluno de mestrado do programa de pós graduação em Ciência da Informação da Universidade Estadual Paulista Júlio de Mesquita Filho. Graduado em Arquivologia (2010) pela Universidade Estadual Paulista Júlio de Mesquita Filho (UNESP) - Campus de Marília. Experiência na área de Ciência da Informação, com ênfase em Processos de Recuperação da Informação e Organização da Informação. Exerce ainda, atividades auxiliares interna e externa no Grupo de Pesquisa Análise Documentária.

Atualmente cursa o 5° semestre em Biblioteconomia pela Universidade Estadual Paulista – Júlio de Mesquita Filho. Faculdade de Filosofia e Ciências. Câmpus de Marília. Possui bolsa de Iniciação Científica PIBIC/CNPq com o projeto intitulado “O percurso discursivo da Ciência da Informação por meio do estudo de periódicos da área”. É também integrante do grupo de Pesquisa “Análise Documentária.”

João Batista Ernesto de Moraes, Faculdade de Filosofia e Ciências, UNESP

Livre-Docente em Linguística e Documentação. Professor Associado do Departamento de Ciência da Informação da Faculdade de Filosofia e Ciências - Unesp - Marília. Tem experiência na área de Linguística, com ênfase em Teoria e Análise Linguística, atuando principalmente nos seguintes temas: Organização da Informação; Análise Documental; Semântica Discursiva e Análise do Discurso. É parecerista "ad hoc" da Fundação de Amparo à Pesquisa do Estado de São Paulo (Fapesp), da CAPES e do CNPq. Atualmente é Coordenador do Curso de Pós-Graduação em Ciência da Informação da Faculdade de Filosofia e Ciências - FFC - Unesp - Marília.
