This paper presents, based on a documentary research and content analysis, a chronological journey through the reality of Ibero-America regarding the topic of information literacy –INFOLIT. This journey begins in 1985, when the first work on the topic was published, until our days, when the papers are mainly related to the inclusion of information literacy into the curriculum and the use of e-learning platforms and Web 2.0 for teaching and learning information competencies.Downloads
