Knowledge and organizational socialization: sociocultural process for innovation in the electronics industry of Garça, São Paulo

The role of organizational socialization processes of innovative knowledge creation in the electro-electronic industrial sector of Garça city in São Paulo is discussed. A qualititive methodology based on the on-site application of a Likert-scale questionnaire to the managers and the utilization of statistical tools to identify correlations among variables was used. The results confirm the contribution of the socialization process to knowledge construction for supporting innovation in the electro-electronic industries sector.
